Summarization of changes

11.4.2025

I´ve decided to make a few changes in project B which were not specified in project A. Here is the list of changes and reasons of doing in MSB ordering

1) another portal as finale ending-point of the level:

doing the project A, I completely forgot, that the door will disappera once it was opened, so if the player met the switch, it was possible to never meet the door,  which would be very confusing. So I decided to add a blue portal (and make a proper statement in the speach bubble at the begginnig of the level) as the level ending. This way, it should be completely clear to the player, what is she/he looking for and why.

2) text of the speach bubble - reasons above

3) background

default background for the new level is "sky", but since it was stated in the project A, that this is a cave/dungeon system, it seems logical to change it.

4) lights

in the project A there were no statements about the light on the scene and how far is Ellen supposed to see, on the other hand, there was a statement about using the default settings for sprites etc if not stated otherwise and this was the default state of the lights (at least for me) and after many unsuccesful attempts to change it back as if there would be the "sky" background, I decided to treat it as a feature - since she is in the cave system and ask someone (after finding out, who also changed background and had similar problem).

5) tiles in the 7th chamber

I´ve made a few minor changes in the distribution of tiles in the final (7th) chambers, so there would be at least some parkour needed - it was a bit tricky to desing this bit without a proper measures, so I´ve kinda figured beforehead, that it might change slightly.

6)room sizes

some rooms might be a bit bigger that others even thought on the design all appeared the same, mainly because to keep other size differencies, it was just neccessary to change the floor height a bit in chamber 5, or make the 8th chamber a bit smaller etc...
